About the Role of Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative
This role is a mix of being on the road and hands-on in the warehouse. You’ll work closely with our Warehouse Team Lead to keep our operations smooth, efficient, and safe. Your day-to-day will include:
- Driving with Purpose: Safely loading, unloading, and delivering our stock while complying with UK driving laws.
- Warehouse Ready: Organising and maintaining the warehouse like a well-oiled machine, ensuring every piece of equipment is in its place and accounted, prepped and ready to be delivered.
- Digital Logistics: Accurately entering & recording data, completing deliveries via our app-based solution.
- Safety First: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and actively promote health and safety across the business.
- Team Player: Collaborating, sharing ideas and solving problems. We believe a good laugh and a bit of camaraderie can make even the busiest day more enjoyable.
About You
When you’re behind the wheel or in the warehouse, you’re not just representing HRS—you’re showcasing what makes you, well, you. We’re after someone who is:

- A Great Communicator: You can chat with customers, colleagues, and even a stubborn piece of equipment with equal charm.
- Self-motivated & Proactive: You take initiative and are ready to hit the road (or warehouse floor) with enthusiasm, even on a Monday morning.
- Fit to Drive: You hold a Full UK Driving Licence, and have previous driving experience.
- Digital Proficiency: As a digital-first company, you'll be expected to work comfortably with Computers, Web & Mobile apps on a daily basis.

Essential
- Impeccable attention to detail (we’re all about getting it right the first time).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proven ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a clean driving record.
- Must be 25+ for insurance purposes.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Quick learner with an aptitude for new software.
- Forklift licence (is a definite plus).
- Proficient with PCs and the Microsoft Office suite and Mobile Apps.
