About the Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise road restraint system installation and maintenance works.
  • Manage site operatives and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with RAMS, specifications, and programme requirements.
  • Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
  • Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and stakeholders on site.
  • Monitor productivity and quality standards.
  • Complete site documentation, reports, and records accurately.
  • Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.

Essential Requirements

 

  • Previous supervisory experience within highways, civil engineering, traffic management, or related industries.
  • Right to work in the UK unsponsored 
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Flexible to accommodate Dayshift or Nightshift working.

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • First Aid at Work.
  • Experience working with road restraint systems/barriers.
