Who is Chevron TM

In simple terms, Chevron Traffic Management is the company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible all over the country. The next time you are out and about and see roadworks, have a look at the signage. It is possible that Chevron Traffic Management put them there.

It is, of course, much more complicated than that. It involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with our suppliers and our customers to ensure that our schemes are fit for purpose. About the role of Sales Ledger Clerk:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our ever-growing business, within the role of Sales Ledger Clerk.

This is a fast paced and varied role and a flexible working approach is welcomed.  Further development in this role will be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities as Sales Ledger Clerk:

  • Updating of relevant customer communication records
  • Weekly sales invoicing
  • Resolving any queries/disputes raised from clients
  • Performing weekly courtesy calls to clients to confirm receipt of invoices
  • Any other duties required by the Team Leader.

What good looks like for a Sales Ledger Clerk:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable/punctual as this is a time critical environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
  • Good organisational skills

Desirable for a Sales Ledger Clerk:

  • Previous experience of working in an accounts/ finance environment
  • AAT Level 2 Qualification
