Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours a week -paid door to door

Role Overview:
As a Traffic Management Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on highways and construction sites.
The M5 Multi-phase Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we do.
You will be responsible for:
Carrying out multiple setups of 2 way, multi-phase and road closure sites per day, collecting completed sites and changing batteries in the temporary traffic lights. You will also be responsible for:
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying:
- cones,
- signs,
- frames,
- sandbags
- other equipment
- Helping and guiding new trainees

What Good Looks Like for a Qualified Traffic Management Operative:
- M5 qualified as a minimum
- 12d Lantra qualification
- Knowledge of Chapter 8
- Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test your offer will depend on the outcome of this
