The Role of Nightshift Operations Scheduler

This role is essential to ensure quality service is delivered out with office hours as Traffic Management is a 24/7 industry. As first point of contact, you will rearrange works to cover any absence within the workforce ensuring the replacement operatives have the correct experience and training to undertake the works.

In addition to taking calls form colleagues, you would organise any emergency works that arise out with office hours. This includes taking accurate details from clients, adding the job to our system then allocating the work to a member of our TM Crew. This may involve allocating works to the nightshift crew available or contacting our standby operatives.

Ideally, you will have good attention to detail as during your shift, you will review the TM Operatives workflows for the dayshift to confirm quality and compliance has been adhered to on site. This is to ensure all information submitted by operatives is of the appropriate standard to receive payment from our clients.

What good looks like for a Nightshift Operations Supervisor

Your will have previous experience scheduling work for a large workforce and rearranging resources to accommodate emergency works or changes in circumstances. You would be familiar with a fast-paced changeable workstream therefore be able to demonstrate your experience in effective efficient decision making.

  • Previous experience working within a reactive environment
  • Attention to detail ensuring compliance with procedures and standard
  • Excellent communications skills: written, verbal and presentation
  • Computer literacy
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
