Job Description – Commercial Team Administrator 

Hours - 30 hours per week Mon-Friday

Location – Hybrid – wok from home plus our office in Stanton Harcourt 

Salary: Competitive, dependant on skills and experience, with company benefits. 

General hours of work are 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility.

About the role of Commercial Team Administrator 

The Commercial Team Administration role is a critical and highly valued role within the Commercial Team. It would be a perfect position for someone with a desire to start in a commercial environment and learn relevant skills or to continue a career in contract administration and commercial work.? You will be trained and guided to deliver an exceptional internal customer and colleague experience and in working collaboratively to support to the wider Commercial team. 

Responsibilities of Commercial Team Administration 

  • Support the Commercial Leads in delivering and exceeding the budgeted performance.? 
  • Support the Commercial Leads in ensuring timely and accurate billing of all work carried out within the company, ensuring that client specified application/invoice dates are met. 
  • Timely responses to Client enquiries, communication falling in line with the company ethos. 
  • Tracking change within NEC contracts and updating clients. 
  • Assist the Commercial Lead and Director with Aged Debt, cash collection and escalation if needed. 
  • Help to prepare revenue reports to facilitate preparation and publication of monthly management accounts. 
  • Raise client invoices in line with accepted financial processes.  
  • Contribute to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts, including ensuring costs and revenue in correct periods. 

What else looks good as a Commercial Team Administrator 

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite 
  • Experience gained within similar Commercial Admin role (desirable but not essential) 
  • Confident to work with a IT/Digital system led solution to commercial management. 
  • Self-Motivated 
  • Excellent Communication Skills 
  • Positive “can-do” attitude 
  • Adaptability and Flexibility 
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Full UK Driving Licence
