Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
We also have part-time 3 days per week available!
Occasion weekend work may be required so you must be flexible!

Responsibilities:
As a Yard Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Traffic Management: Provide clean cones, filled sandbags, and signage that are fit for purpose to traffic management operatives.
- Preparing Equipment: Ensure the correct quantity of traffic signals are ready and fuelled before collection by traffic management crews.
- Creating Custom Signage: Fabricate special signage as required for specific works.
- Quality Control: Visually check all signs and cones for damages upon return from the site and log any issues.
- Battery Management: Secure, account for, and charge all batteries in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintaining Equipment: Clean, re-sleeve, re-base, and security mark all cones to ensure they are in top condition.
- Organizing the Yard: Return all yard equipment to their correct locations, including pedestrian barriers, signs, cones, and sandbags.
- General Yard Duties: Perform various yard duties as instructed by the Yard Supervisor.
- Adhering to Procedures: Follow all company procedures regarding quality, health and safety, and environmental issues.
