About Us:

We provide Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) designs for urban & rural roads, in addition to dual carriageway & motorways anywhere in the UK using the latest industry software.

As well as specialising in TTM design, we also provide Vehicle Swept Path Analysis, Consultancy, RRRAP Assessments, BIM/ 3D design and traffic modelling.

 

About the role of CAD Designer:

As a Temporary Traffic Management Designer, you will use an array of the latest software available in the industry, to the highest level from 2D street works to 3D BIM designs on high speed dual carriageways.

You will be responsible for designing these projects in line with regulations and reporting to our Design supervisor.  Other duties will include:

  • Traffic Management CAD designing
  • Attending client meetings
  • Maintenance of internal design records
  • Conducting design risk assessments

This is a great opportunity to join a successful team, you will be working with talented designers and engineers.  Hours of work are 40 per week, between the hours of 7.30am – 16.30pm, Monday to Friday.

 

About you:

You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable liaising with clients and customers.  Well organised and self motivated, you are able to work to strict deadlines and have a flexible working approach.  A team player, you go above and beyond as well as being comfortable working solely.

 

What looks good for a CAD Designer:

  • Experience in CAD design technician role
  • Experience in a similar role or installations of temporary traffic management
  • Understanding of industry guidelines and reference documents
  • Competent in AutoCAD Civils / BricsCAD / Cone / AutoTURN / KeyLines / KeySigns
  • Full UK Driving Licence

What else looks good for a CAD Designer:

  • BIM & 3D design experience/ knowledge
  • HE Temporary Traffic Management Certificate or working towards this
