The Role:
The Business Management Graduate will support business operations, strategic initiatives, and process improvement activities across the organisation. This role is designed to develop future business leaders by providing broad exposure to commercial, operational, and strategic areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day business operations across departments such as operations, finance, sales, HR, or customer delivery
- Assist with analysis of business performance, KPIs, and management reports
- Contribute to planning, coordination, and delivery of business projects and initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for internal stakeholders
- Support stakeholder engagement, meetings, and follow-up actions
- Conduct market, competitor, or customer research as required
- Ensure work is delivered in line with company policies, values, and objectives
Skills and Competencies
Essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commercial awareness and interest in business strategy
- Right to work in the UK unsponsored
- Within good travel to our Bottesford depot
Desirable
- Basic understanding of project management principles
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with business analysis or reporting tools
- Previous internship, placement, or part-time work experience in a business environment
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (2:1 or above, or equivalent)
Desirable
- Placement year or relevant work experience
- Interest in professional qualifications (e.g. CMI, Prince2, Lean, or MBA pathway)
