About the role of Business Development Manager
This role will support the ongoing growth of Highway Resource Solutions within the UK Traffic Management & Construction industry. Working remotely, you will manage a pipeline of sales opportunities that need to be qualified, engaged, and signed-up to advance HRS as a provider of Digital Solutions within targeted companies. You will provide feedback to the business on how we can improve our proposition and better support the clients we seek to work with.
Working with the depot network and wider sales team as Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving revenue and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager
- Prepare and present sales pitches that are customised to senior decision makers at target companies.
- Maintaining relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned.
- Able to embrace change and drive continual improvement.
- Support with lead generation and target company research.
- Objection handling and contract negotiation.
- Sales pipeline management and reporting to hit monthly targets.
- Testimonial and case study development.
- Optimise the sales process by providing feedback to management.
- Following the latest industry developments and staying up to date on corporate competitors
