Job Title –  Assistant Administrator

Hours – Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm

Location: Somerset

About the Role of Assistant Administrator:

This role is perfect for somebody wanting to work in a heavy administrative role. As we are a Traffic Management company, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the industry and as you are completing administration tasks around Traffic Management your knowledge of the industry will grow.  Working with the team on one of our main contracts for the Southwest region, you will provide administrative support to the commercial and finance teams. Your duties will include:

  • Creating and maintaining systems with all required works
  • Monitoring and reporting on performance, ensuring we exceed our targets and service levels
  • Data entry onto various spreadsheets
  • Reviewing completed jobs and ensuring all paperwork is correct and up-to-date
  • Collating invoices of works and compiling and submitting job packs
  • Assessing multiple platforms to ensure all data is up to date and assisting the team with other admin tasks as and when required

What looks good for an Assistant Administrator:

As this is a fast-paced position we would require you to be an organised individual, a team player and to be most content when working within an office environment. 

  • Keen and willing to learn and adapt to new practices
  • Excellent communicator
  • Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office software
  • Can work to deadlines and prioritise your own workload
  • Have a right to work in the UK unsponsored 
  • Live within a good travelling distance from the depot, as this role is full time office based
