We are recruiting for 12AB Operatives, Foreman and IPV Operatives

Location: Northern Ireland 

Must hold a full driving licence (no more than 6 points) to be eligible for this role.

37.5 hours per week are guaranteed, with most working weeks ranging from 50 to 60 hours. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, and weekends, and overtime is available.

You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.

Role Overview:

As a Traffic Management Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on highways and construction sites. Your responsibilities will include:

12AB Operative

  • Setting up and maintaining traffic management systems
  • Safely directing traffic during roadworks, events, and emergencies
  • Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
  • Help and guide new trainees

Foreman

  • Assist and advise managers to help schemes run smoothly and efficiently
  • Oversee and coordinate a crew, ensuring roles are carried out safely, and project objectives are achieved  
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations

Requirements for Traffic Management Operative:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to work nights, and 2 weekends per month 
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months
  • Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g., Lantra 12AB, 12AForeman or IPV)
